About Mario.Game Adventure
Mario.Game Adventure is the home game of this site: a fast, original side-scrolling platformer in the spirit of the 1985 NES classic. Every level, sprite and tune was built from scratch for the browser — there is nothing to download and nothing to install.
You start in World 1-1, Green Hills, and fight your way through eight levels: an underground cavern, mushroom plains, a kingdom in the clouds, a frozen night, sunset treetops, a fortress road and finally a lava castle with a boss guarding the axe. Each world adds a new idea — moving lifts, rows of spiky shells, rotating fire bars — so the game keeps teaching you something new.
The physics are tuned to feel like the classics: you build up speed when you run, skid when you change direction, and jump higher when you hold the button. Grab a mushroom to grow, a flower to throw fireballs and a star for a few seconds of invincibility. Levels you reach stay unlocked, so you can always come back and chase a better score.

Features
- 8 levels across 4 worlds, each with its own theme and soundtrack
- Classic power-ups: Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, Starman and 1-Up
- A checkpoint halfway through every level
- Moving lifts, fire bars, lava pits, piranha plants and a castle boss
- Keyboard, touch screen and gamepad controls
- Progress and best scores saved in your browser
Tips
- Hold the run button before a long gap — a running jump goes almost twice as far as a standing one.
- Tap jump for small hops and hold it for full height; small hops are safer under low ceilings.
- Hit every block with a mushroom icon: it always contains a power-up.
- Every level has a hidden checkpoint around the middle — once you pass it, you restart there after losing a life.
- Fireballs bounce along the floor and defeat any enemy they touch — the castle boss needs five hits.
- In 4-2 the boss can be skipped by reaching the axe at the end of the bridge.
