All Secrets in Mario.Game Adventure: Hidden 1-Ups, Stars and Coin Bricks

Spoilers ahead! This page lists every hidden item in Mario.Game Adventure. There are three kinds of secrets:

  • Invisible blocks — you cannot see them until you jump into them from below. Each contains a 1-Up.
  • Special bricks — they look like ordinary bricks but contain a Starman, a 1-Up or up to seven coins.
  • Power-up blocks — they look exactly like ? blocks but always give a mushroom (or a flower if you are big).

Invisible 1-Up blocks

LevelWhere
1-1In the air just after the Piranha Plant pipe, before the first pit
2-1Above the ground just after the Piranha Plant pipe around the middle
3-1High above the "brick, ?, brick, ?, brick" row near the end

Hidden Starmen

LevelWhere
1-1Second brick of the short pair after the multi-coin brick
1-2Third brick of the six-brick upper row in the second half
2-1Middle brick of the high trio above the long block row
2-2Floating block above the five-cloud platform with a Koopa
3-1Middle brick between two Spinies

4-1Middle of the "?, brick, ?" row above the six-brick row near the start

Brick 1-Ups

LevelWhere
1-2Fourth brick in the five-brick row near the end

Multi-coin bricks

Hit these repeatedly — each gives up to seven coins.

LevelWhere
1-1Lone brick under the high block row after the first sky bridge
1-2Middle of the high brick row with coins above it
2-1Middle brick of the short row before the first Spiny
3-1Middle of the "?, brick, ?" row

How to search for secrets

Invisible blocks always sit where you would naturally jump — above gaps and just after obstacles. If you suspect one, jump while walking slowly through the area. And when you see a short row of bricks on its own, hit every one: the odd brick out is often special.
